Kenneth Lemberg is a Maryland barred attorney, since 2012. He graduated with his Juris Doctor from the University of Baltimore School of Law. Ken has been an active practitioner in the Washington-Baltimore metro area. He handles veterans related cases in Maryland (Baltimore court) for Empowerment Legal Services. Ken also has a background in employment law, immigration law, and landlord-tenant law in Maryland. He has served in related clinics, commissions, and representations in court. Ken was previously Deputy Director of the Maryland Governor’s Workforce Development Board and liaised with local workforce development leaders across the state, as well as provided strategic policy input. Prior to that position, Ken served as an Apprenticeship and Training Representative for the Employment and Training Administration of the U.S. Department of Labor. There he helped further develop work-based learning programs in a variety of industries, including for the United Services Military Apprenticeship Program (USMAP), which assists transitioning veterans into skilled fields in the civilian workplace.
Additionally, Ken provided legal services at the U.S. Department of Labor in rotational assignments at the Civil Rights Center, the Division of Wage and Hour, and in the Office of the Solicitor.
